So I was BEYOND excited when I found out that Meredith was making an impromptu visit for a week! I felt like it had been an eternity since I had seen her less than a couple weeks ago in Boston for the taping of Episode 1 of Season 10! I guess that’s what happens when you find your long lost twin and then have to part ways after a day … just kidding, we’re not literally twins. haha But if you’ve seen the two of us in action you’d think we were definitely separated at birth!
Once Meredith arrived, we made sure to hit up Wegman’s to stock the fridge with healthy foods and prepared for a week of hardcore workouts and activity! We spent the week walking the boardwalk, trained together at Gold’s Gym, took hot yoga (not Meredith’s fave), tried Renee’s Body Pump class, got a beat down from my trainer Joyce VanSeters and even managed to get a hardcore pool workout in. It was very an EXTREMELY successful week, I lost 5 pounds and Meredith lost a whopping 9.7 pounds! While I really enjoy my workouts and having the time to myself, it was really nice to have my sidekick there to motivate me! It was a really great week and no trip was complete without a video recap.
